One product of efficiency was the creation of an efficient manufacturing method by Taylorist and innovator, Henry Ford. He called his manufacturing process the assembly line, which involved a group of products being moved down a line in an orderly fashion, stopping at a variable distance to have a new part added to it, or more of its construction be completed.
